And with
that comes new responsibilities to hold on to what meant the most in the year
past, and to let go of the disappointment and failure that was felt . It’s a
clean slate to move forward with but just because it is a new year  doesn’t mean disappointment isn’t lurking
around the next corner. Maybe instead of looking at the new year as the only
time to change and make peace we need to look at the start of everyday as a
clean slate. At the setting of the sun we need to make peace and begin anew. I
of all people should realize that life is too short to hold on to regrets, and
wishes. The next day, the next hour, the next minute; it is only what we make
of it, and how it is to be remembered. So lets remember the best of 2012 and
look forward to the future, the best of 2013.
